The Hōra is a 15-day period (three 5-day weeks) named after the Greek word from which both hour and year are derived. (see definition of Hour from Etymonline)
If we arrange the year like a 24-hour clock, with Midnight at the Northern Solstice, then each Hōra is equivalent to one hour of the day. While in the Northern Hemisphere, this aligns with the day beginning at Midnight, however, in the Southern Hemisphere, it begins at Midday.

Begins at bottom, progresses clockwise.
